Darren Dunn's family left Sioux Falls, South Dakota, about 40 years ago for the springs. He grew up in Lake City with clear, cold water as part of everyday life.
After years renovating homes across Alachua and Columbia counties, he kept seeing the same things: orange stains, scale on the glass, water that smelled wrong. Families had stopped noticing, and when they asked for help, they got a sales pitch.
He wanted North Florida families to have water as good as the springs he grew up around, and an honest way to get there. That's why he started Bluejay Water Co.
