Is the water test really free?
Yes. There's no charge for the visit or the test, and no obligation to buy anything. If your water is fine, we'll tell you that.
Do I need to be home?
Yes. We test at your kitchen sink and walk you through the numbers while we're there. It works best if whoever makes the decisions about the house can be there too.
Do you test city water too?
Yes. City water in this area is often hard, and some people want to deal with the chlorine taste. The test works the same way.
Is this the same as a lab test for bacteria?
No. Our in-home test covers the things that cause stains, smell, scale and taste. If you want your well checked for bacteria, a certified lab test is the way to do it, and we can point you to where to get one.
